2019年11月17日,由我校主办的“技术——第九届中国设计学青年论坛”在南京艺术学院美术馆顺利闭幕。此次论坛由设计学院承办,南京创意设计中心、南京艺术学院美术馆协办,合作媒体图灵创意互联、腾讯大苏网、新浪微博。
论坛组委会通过征稿及约稿,邀请了13所院校及设计机构的研究者、教育者、设计师、企业家通过“哲学”、“历史”、“实验”、“实践”多个纬度展开对“技术迁移”、“技术哲学”、“数字化”相关话题的深入探讨。

设计的核心是什么?
南京艺术学院教授、博士生导师李立新围绕设计的核心是什么这一主题,表示技术在设计的发展中有着不可取代的重要作用,技术的革命甚至导致设计的转型。设计的核心无论是使用工科的思维还是艺术的思维来回答,都是回答不上来的,设计的核心属于哲学问题,哲学的问题应该用哲学的思维来回答。设计的核心是人类的生存,因为人类所有的创作行为都是为了自身的生存,为了提升生存的质量,设计不能脱了“人”这个本体。红旗渠,葛洲坝这两个实际的案例在艺术和设计两个方面都谈不上优秀但却屡获设计大奖,它们背后都反应了人类的生存问题,是体现了人们为了创造美好生活所作出的具体设计。所以人类的生存问题才是设计的核心问题,而不是所谓的艺术和技术。

南京艺术学院实验艺术中心主任邬烈炎教授以“设计之诗”为题,赞美了通过技术实现的艺术作品。邬烈炎教授列举了金字塔建造、青蒿素发明、米开朗基罗、达芬奇创造的解剖透视科学技法理论、南京艺术学院设计学院本科生教学等案例讲述了技术发展和应用对于社会、生活、教育产生的巨大影响。在演讲最后,邬烈炎教授对不久前辞世的设计学院环境艺术专业副教授,参数化设计研究者徐炯老师致以悼念。邬烈炎教授表示,会将徐炯老师研究的技术向更高深的领域发展,融合新的技术、媒介,不断开拓创新。

Abstract:When we talk about technology in the crafts it is quite natural to immediately think about NEW technology and, almost always, to think of that as either a threat to our standards and way of life if we are concerned with quality of hand work or as an opportunity for efficiency and profit if we are involved in any kind of manufacturing scale. One sees it as a force of evil, the other as a force for good. We don’t always see it as both-or even more than that.If we think historically about our individual crafts disciplines we can see how over centuries technology of various sorts has played a part in the development of those right up until the present day. Technology of one sort or another has always been with us, it has often been treated as a threat and viewed with suspicion because there is always the concern that someone’s job is at risk as a consequence. Yet, various technologies have actually made our work easier, improved its quality, removed or reduced some of the less pleasant or repetitive aspects of some of our processes. Looked at in a historical context technology has mainly been a force for good.

From Object-Centred to User-Centred Histories of Design and Architecture

Abstract:This paper addresses the problem of how historians might redirect their focus from object-oriented design and architectural histories to user-centered histories. That is, histories that include people’s interactions with objects and buildings as their central focus. Elements of such “user-centered” history already exist in social histories of architecture, particularly those dealing with interior design, and in histories of design. Furthermore, anthropological approaches to contemporary material culture and ActorNetwork-Theory, for example, offer promising means by which to reconsider the histories of design and architecture. At the moment, these remain isolated approaches that have not yet been applied to larger historical narratives. This paper represents an initial sketch of how we might reconsider historical narratives in terms of human-object and human-building interactions.
内容摘要:本文关注的问题是,历史学家在设计史与建筑史中,如何将关注焦点从“以物为中心”转向“以用户为中心”,即,在历史中关注人与物、人与建筑的互动。这种“以用户为中心” 的历史要素早已出现在了建筑的社会史领域,特别是和室内设计及设计史有关的领域。不仅如此,研究当代物质文化的人类学方法,以及诸如行动者网络理论,为我们重新思考设计史和建筑史提供了极富前途的工具。当前,这些方法处于彼此隔绝的状态,尚未被用于更大范围的历史叙事之中。因此本文尝试探索的问题是,我们如何通过人—物与人—建筑的互动,来重新思考历史叙事。

内容摘要:本文从手作和手工艺等词的概念界说入手,通过解析海德格尔、阿伦特、桑内特的哲学和社会学理论梳理了手作的观念、内涵和传统工艺的转型方向。手作的观念奠定了传统工艺转型的思想基础,手作的设计将手作从一种个人行为转化为一种社会行动,构建起传统工艺可持续发展的行动框架。
Abstract:The paper starts with the definition of the concept of handmade and handicraft, and explains the concept, connotation and transition direction of traditional crafts by analyzing the philosophy and sociology theories of Martin Heidegger, Hannah Arendt and Richard Sennett. The concept of handmade has laid the ideological basis for the transformation of traditional crafts. The design of handmade has transformed handmade from a personal behavior into a social action, and has constructed an action framework for the sustainable development of traditional crafts.

内容摘要:象征神佛居所的小木作“天宫楼阁”是传统小木作营造中的独特类型,是体现我国传统建筑“楼阁玲珑五云起”之精巧所在的浓缩宝典,蕴含了古代先民精妙的匠作技艺与艺术思维。研究认为,现实营造与传统绘画中的楼阁建筑是“天宫楼阁”形象演变的来源或佐证。而通过剖析与比较现存三种不同类型“天宫楼阁”的营造技艺及艺术特征,可解读其独特的技艺特征、设计规律、文化现象及历史价值。同时,“天宫楼阁”亦是宗教义理的承载与表征,其演变过程体现出多民族文化与宗教艺术融合发展的脉络特征。由小木作造“景”及造“境”的本土化构筑模式,凝聚了深厚的哲理思想与文化内涵,为“天宫楼阁”的意象建构提供了特殊的场域与精神界面渲染化的工具。
Abstract:Being special among the traditional joinery work, the exquisite woodwork“Heavenly Pavilion” which symbolizes the residence of Gods and Buddhas is the concentrated embodiment of the delicacy of China’s traditional buildings with the feature of “Delicate Pavilions Standing >”. It contains the exquisite craftsmanship and artistic thinking of ancient people. According to the research, the buildings in reality and in traditional paintings have become the source or evidence of the evolution of the image of “Heavenly Pavilion” from the perspective of artistic image creation. By analyzing and comparing the artistic features of the existing three different types of “Heavenly Pavilion”, we can interpret their unique laws of design, cultural phenomena and historical values. Meanwhile, the “Heavenly Pavilion” is also the carrier and representation of religious philosophies. The process of its integrated development embodies the characteristic of taking the aesthetics of the Han nationality as the mainstream while constantly absorbing the essence of the fine cultures of other nationalities. The domestic construction mode of creating “Scenery” and “Conception” together with the condensation of profound philosophical thoughts and cultural connotations have provided special fields and mental rendering tools for the image construction of “Heavenly Pavilion”.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the historical context and background of Chinese craft images taken by Hedda Morrison in Peking from 1933 to 1946. In particular, how does Hedda Morrison balance two completely different systems in her photography: a rapidly developing visual technology system and a disappearing material culture system? And how these images show the relationship between the documenter and history events and the formation of historical memory.

Not only does it need to be visually stunning, but it also needs to focus on the experience and engagement of the product. The construction and operation of homestay are inseparable. 内容摘要: 与世界上其他文明相比,中国纺织品具有独特的起源和发展路径。从文化与技术的视角看,表现在三个方面:一是以蚕丝为原料,二是以平纹为基础组织的提花织物,三是彩色织物的重组织结构。首先,考古证明5000多年前已利用蚕丝织造;其次,以平纹而不是斜纹构成提花织物的基础组织,并通过“并丝”织法变化出斜纹组织;第三即重经结构,多色丝线构成的经线组与未染色纬线交织,经线变换上下位置织出多彩花纹,这种以平纹为基础的立体结构被称为锦。锦的多彩设计原理全然不同于刺绣、印染与缂织。由这种设计思维发展而来的提花机因此独步天下,并通过丝绸之路传播到世界各地。
Abstract: Chinese textile design has its own origin and unique journey, compared to the others in the world. There are three fundamental elements, mulberry silk, plain foundation weave for damask and compound weave for polychrome textile, from the technical and cultural point of view. First of all, the mulberry silkworm was domesticated 5000 years ago, and the mulberry silk was used to produce the silk textile. Secondly, plain weave, instead of twill weave, is the foundation for the damask, on which, more varied pattern structures were made in 2-2 or G-G method. The third is compound weave, which uses several groups of colorful warps and undyed wefts to build a 3D structure and to make the pattern with more colors. The combination of plain foundation and compound weave is so called jin silk, warp faced compound plain weave. Its principle is totally different from embroidery, piled carpet, silk tapestry, etc. The system to make these patterns on jin silk became the key element of the pattern loom or drawloom, which was transmitted to everywhere in the world through the Silk Road.

内容摘要: 1982 年发掘的湖北江陵马山一号楚墓中,出土了被认为是古代中国“机械”提花最早证据的“舞人动物纹锦”,此织锦纹样单位宽度横跨整个幅宽,达到49.1厘米(面料幅宽为50.5厘米),高度却仅有5.5厘米,其纹样形制与最左侧纵贯全料的“错综”是本文研究的起点,也是探讨中国早期丝织技术及其逻辑的一个切入点。本文期望从交织的技术出发,在探讨织纹形成原理的同时,分析纹样“出错”的文化与技术原因,并期望在关注丝织相关的工具构成、机械原理、文化影响等议题的同时,探讨中国古代丝织在技术构建与生产创新等方面的人文逻辑。
Abstract: This paper takes "Dance Person Animal Grain Brocade" as the main research object to discuss the technical logic problems in ancient Chinese silk weaving. The mistakes of the fabric patterns in silk weaving are firstly discussed, while the reasons of them from the technical level are then analyzed; in the second part, analyzes the causes of fabric errors from the technical level; and finally forms some reasoning on the technical logic of China's early silk weaving.

内容摘要: 始于经典技术哲学的现代技术哲学经历了三次转向,分别是以社会为导向的第一次经验转向、以工程为导向的第二次经验转向,以及第三次“物转向”(thingly turn)。本文在新兴技术逐渐成为社会发展取向重要因素的时代语境中,结合技术哲学三次转向及其特点,从思辨与批判性设计(SCD)的概念溯源、认识论基础、批判性来源等入手,以期认识 SCD 的伦理潜能。SCD 以物为媒介,将抽象的技术前景置 于日常生活中并予以具象化,将未知的技术未来予以视觉化虚构,从而将技术讨论从专家拓展到大众。从技术哲学的视角来看,SCD 体现了强烈的经验导向以及物转向趋势,并具备技术伦理学在使用情境缺席的伦理关照。
Abstract: The modern philosophy of technology that began with classical philosophical philosophy has undergone three turns: the first experience turn with socially orientation, the second experience turn with engineering orientation, and the third “thingly turn”. In the context of the times when emerging technologies are gradually becoming a predominant factor in social and cultural development, inspired by the three turns of philosophy of technology and its characteristics, this paper starts from the conceptual resource, epistemological basis, critical sources of the speculative and critical design (SCD), etc., in order to understand the ethical potential of SCD. SCD takes things as medium, puts the abstract technology prospect into everyday life and materializes it, and visualizes the unknown future of technology, thus move the opportunities of discussion on emerging technology from experts to public. From the perspective of philosophy of technology, SCD manifests a strong trend of the experience-oriented and thingly turn, and has the ethical care in the context of using that is absent from the ethics of technology.

内容摘要: 本文通过论述设计、医学及技术之间的关系,试图说明技术在医学科学中具有的意义和价值;技术在一定程度上推动设计的改革,医学是一种人体生理科学,需要大量技术作为动力对其进行革新和创新。本文通过三个方面来论述因技术的进步使设计在医学中所发挥的不可替代的作用,试图阐明设计、医学和技术之间有着紧密的关系,并相互影响,相互渗透。通过三者关系的阐述说明医学科学天然存在着设计基因, 技术是三者的前提,并对设计及医学所阐述的结果具有决定性的作用。医学科学离不开人性化的设计和技术的进步,因为三者不可以分割,需要从三者的辩证关系的角度思考问题。
Abstract: This paper discusses the relationship among design, medicine and technology, trying to explain the significance and value of technology in medical science; technology promotes the reform of design to a certain extent, medicine is a human physiological science, which needs a lot of technology as the driving force to innovate and innovate. This paper discusses the irreplaceable role of design in medicine due to the progress of technology from three aspects, trying to clarify that there is a close relationship between design, medicine and technology, and they influence and permeate each other. Through the elaboration of the relationship among the three, it shows that there are design genes naturally in medical science, and technology is the premise of the three, and plays a decisive role in the design and the results of the Medical Exposition. Medical science is inseparable from human design and technological progress, because the three can not be separated, we need to think about the problem from the perspective of the dialectical relationship between the three.

内容摘要: 在明清中西技术思想的交流语境中,技术化约为耶儒合流之后的再语境化与重现选择,以此关于明清技术思想的研究亦呈现出四种模式:诗性模式、图像模式、巫术模式和性别模式,这四种模式统摄于明清帝国的权力话语之下,并呈现出各自受限制的部分,那么技术变成了有选择的技术,并导致研究的不足,同时也反衬出明清技术研究的多面与复杂。
Abstract: In the context of Ming and qing dynasties of Chinese and western technology thought exchange, technical about Confucianism after confluence and contextual and recreate choice, this technology's research also thought about the Ming and qing dynasties presented four patterns: poetic mode, image pattern, witchcraft and gender mode, the four patterns of both the Ming empire under the power of discourse, and presents their restricted part, then became has the choice of technology, and leads to the lack of research, but also highlighted the technology research of Ming and qing dynasties multifaceted and complex.

Abstract: In the hybrid teaching of digital media direction of visual communication design in Nanjing University of the Arts we mix online and offline teaching method, and make original design projects as the core of teaching. We have released more than ten digital products in the digital platforms such as Apple App Store and HTC Vive due to the high standard of the design requirements for the professional teaching. As a result each student gets the ability to combine art and technology and achieves deep learning goals.

Abstract: The creative practice of NUA can be summed up with three key words: "transboundary,experimental and innovative", which has also become the teaching characteristics of NUA. Then, the setting and practice of fashion design course is also carried out under such requirements. After several years‘ exploration, the two most representative courses of fashion design are experimental design and thematic design. The work style of this course is distinctive and conceptual. In particular, experimental "paper clothes" and "parametric" clothes are the most representative.

内容摘要: 在南艺设计实验教学的统筹下,笔者一方面探讨了数字技术在人行桥景观建筑中的概念性应用,另一方面剖析了适宜技术在足尺建筑空间建造中所展现的务实性价值。同时认为无论是“高技”的操作还是“低技”的搭建都显示出它们对南艺本科教学的实验性意义。
Abstract: Under the experimental teaching skeletons of the design institute in NUA, on the one hand this paper has discussed the conceptual application of digital technology in footbridge design as the landscape architecture, on the other hand it also has analyzed the essential value expressed by the construction of architectural space with 1:1 proportion due to the adaptable technology. At last, this paper has indicated that both the Hi-tech and the Low-tech all demonstrated the experimental meanings to NUA’s undergraduate teaching.

内容摘要: 游览路径与景点布局的关系是古典园林艺术中的重要内容, 展现了古典园林营造的内在“基因”。从基本原理、算法选择、软件工具等方面指出运用参数化算法进行分析的可行性,提出基于参数化算法的游览路径与景点布局关系分析过程,并对扬州瘦西湖风景区进行实证研究。参数化算法在发掘、传承和发扬古典园林艺术内在“基因”方面具有可推广性。
Abstract: The relationship between the route and the layout of scenic spots is an important part of classical garden art, which shows the inherent "gene" of classical garden construction. From the basic principle, algorithm selection, software tools, this paper points out the feasibility of using parametric algorithm in analysis of classical garden, puts forward the analysis process of the relationship between the route and the layout of scenic spots based on the parametric algorithm, and conducts empirical research on Slender West Lake scenic area in Yangzhou. The parametric algorithm can be popularized in exploring, inheriting and developing the inherent "gene" of classical garden art.

内容摘要: 设计产业作为社会发展的重要推力之一,其发展状况对中国经济创新及社会可持续发展意义重大。本文利用文献计量法 统计分析了设计产业研究现状与热点。以 Web of science 数据库和中国期刊全文数据库(CNKI)为数据来源,利用 Excel 按年份统计得到发文数量,通过 Bibexcel 得到设计产业主要研究机构、核心作者及高频词关键词共词矩阵,并利用 Ucinet 和 Netdraw 使共词矩阵可视化。利用 SPSS 进行关键词聚类分析,分别将国内外相关研究分为五大类, 分析设计产业相关研究趋势及热点。
研究表明:①国内外设计产业研究特征各异。国际设计产业相关研究较多,上升趋势明显,个别年份有所回落,趋势变化幅度较小;中国设计产业研究阶段性特征明显,划分为起步阶段(2000-2009年)、上升阶段(2010-2014年)、回落阶段(2015-2018年);
②相关文献来源分散特征明显。国际设计产业文献来源期刊以工业设计为主,国内多与艺术领域相交叉。
③设计产业研究的核心作者不均衡性明显,美国与中国的学者较多,在设计产业研究中处于领先地位;中国设计产业研究机构以大学为主,具有专项性与综合性兼顾的特点。
④国外设计产业研究高频关键词涵盖范围较广,涉及能源、食品、环境等方面, 研究热点包括创新、设计、可持续、自动化等;中国设计产业的研究热点主要为工业设计、创意产业、工业设计产业等,工业设计与企业管理、工业设计与工业意匠等间联系密切。
⑤高频关键词聚类分析结果表明,国际设计产业研究内容较国内更为广泛;国际设计产业研究角度较中国更为细致,研究内容微观化趋势明显。
Abstract: The design industry is one of the important thrusts of social development. Its development status is of great significance to China's economic innovation and sustainable social development. This paper uses the bibliometric method to statistically analyze the status quo and hotspots of the design industry. Using Web of science database and China Journal Full-text Database (CNKI) as the data source, Excel uses the statistics of the year to get the number of documents, and through Bibexcel, the main research institutions, core authors and high-frequency word keywords common word matrix of the design industry are obtained, and Ucinet is utilized. And Netdraw visualize the co-word matrix. Using SPSS for keyword clustering analysis, the related researches at home and abroad are divided into five categories, and the research trends and hotspots of the design industry are analyzed. Research shows that: 1 domestic and international design industry research characteristics are different. There are many researches related to the international design industry, and the upward trend is obvious. Some years have declined, and the trend of change is small. The stage characteristics of China's design industry are obvious, which are divided into the initial stage (2000-2009) and the rising stage (2010-2014). Year), fallback stage (2015-2018); 2 relevant literature sources scattered characteristics are obvious. The international design industry literature source journals are mainly industrial design, and the domestic crosses the art field. 3 The core authors of design industry research are unbalanced. There are many scholars in the United States and China, and they are in the leading position in the design industry research. The Chinese design industry research institutions are mainly universities, with special and comprehensive characteristics. 4 Foreign design industry research high-frequency keywords cover a wide range, involving energy, food, environment and other aspects, research hotspots include innovation, design, sustainability, automation, etc.; China's design industry research hotspots are mainly industrial design, creative industries, Industrial design industry, industrial design and enterprise management, industrial design and industrial artisans are closely related. The results of 5 high-frequency keyword clustering analysis show that the content of international design industry research is more extensive than that of China; the international design industry research perspective is more detailed than China, and the research content is more microscopic.
